TSA Attends Richmond International Job Fair September 15

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) attends a job fair at Richmond International Airport.

Several employers, including the TSA, will be present to find potential candidates to fill the available positions. The administration hires full-time and part-time TSA agents and provides information.

TSA positions have a starting wage of $17.55 per hour. New employees will have the opportunity to increase their salary after six months. The Authority also provides benefits for full-time and part-time employees, including paid training, health, dental and vision care plans, life insurance and long-term care insurance, a retirement plan, a flexible spending account, an employee assistance program, paid time off, paid holidays, paid federal holidays, a savings plan (similar to a 401 (k) and parental leave.

Prior security or law enforcement experience is not required for candidates.

The job fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 15 at the Ivor Massey Administration Building adjacent to the airport at 5707 Huntsman Road.

There is free parking in the building and the GRTC 7A/B bus route to Richmond Airport has a shuttle to pick up attendees to transport them to and from the Massey building.
