The Williamsport City Lions extended their record to 3-0 with a 2-1 victory at Edison Park on Saturday afternoon against Club Tijuana Xolos NJ. Tevin Beadle fired a free kick to the back post, which was sent in by Williamsport City Lions captain and former Williamsport Millionaire star Kolachi Pombor for the 1-0 lead.

Owen Magee would then take a penalty after being brought down in the box. The kick was taken by Sean Barrant, who nailed it for the second goal and a 2-0 lead before Club Tijuana Xolos NJ scored to break the shutout.

South Williamsport star Hayden Swinehart registered an assist in the win.

The top two sides of the top-seeded Cataranchos and the No. 2 City Lions face off at Kenneth Robbins Stadium at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
